Project Overview
BuildPlan Consulting Engineers was engaged to deliver detailed civil engineering design services for an 12-lot residential subdivision in Mareeba, Far North Queensland. The project involves the civil design of internal access roads, pavement structures, intersection treatments, stormwater management infrastructure, and a cul-de-sac layout, in accordance with local and state design standards.
- Detailed geometric design of internal roads, including a cul-de-sac and intersection with the existing road network
- Pavement design in accordance with FNQROC specifications, incorporating local ground conditions and design traffic
- Stormwater drainage design in compliance with QUDM, addressing site runoff management and lawful point of discharge
- Preparation of an Erosion and Sediment Control Plan (ESCP) in accordance with IECA Best Practice Erosion and Sediment Control guidelines
- Production of compliant civil design documentation for submission to Mareeba Shire Council
